Wow, this place has it all! A bar, a restaurant, and even a 24-hour front desk. The free WiFi is a bonus, but I hope nobody steals my personal information, haha. Feels like home!
Oh, and they also have "bike hire and car hire" available. Because who doesn't want to explore the busy streets of Bhaktapur on a bicycle or in a car?

They provided us with useful information about the local area and recommended some great hiking trails nearby. the location of the hotel was also convenient, as it was close to the main attractions and bus stops. the price was reasonable, which was a definite plus.
To our stay at this hotel. the beds were quite small, which made it a bit uncomfortable for taller guests.

The owner Bisou is always present in the lounge, eager to share local tips. The rooms are clean with a good atmosphere. The staff is helpful and affordable. Convenient location for exploring Bhaktapur and nearby attractions. Great for an authentic Nepalese experience.

Loved the "bar" serving watered-down drinks and the "Nepalese cuisine" that tasted like cardboard. The 24-hour front desk staff were too busy chatting to notice me. Oh, and the continental breakfast looked like it had been sitting there since last century.
The airport transfers were nonexistent and the free WiFi was so slow that I could have sent a carrier pigeon with my messages faster.

Felt so much at home, nothing was too much trouble.

The rooms at Hostel Swastik are cozy and comfortable, with a nice seating area where you can relax after a long day of exploring. The shared bathroom is clean and has a convenient shower. I really enjoyed the homely atmosphere of the hostel.
Personally, I would have preferred if the rooms had a private bathroom. But hey, that's just me!

They treated us like friends, not just customers. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hot shower was fantastic. The movie room with the projector was a hit with our family, and we enjoyed spending our evenings catching up on our favorite shows. The location of the hostel was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the incredible area of Bhaktapur. Plus, we highly recommend trying the delicious local Newari food!
For dads, it would be great if there were more family-friendly activities for children.

The hostel had a great location, situated in a quiet area but still close to the main attractions. the rooms were comfortable and had warm blankets, ensuring a good night's sleep. the staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service. There was also a shared kitchen available to use, adding convenience to their stay.
The lack of individual lights for each bed was a minor inconvenience.
